My First Blog Post

I have switched over to blogspot because we are going to be traveling this summer, and it somehow has started to seem strange to post where we are to the entire world. Summer vacation has started, and of course Coley and I are starting this one off with a project. Our back fence has been rotting away for sometime, so a couple of weeks ago we tore the entire thing down. After waiting for our steel delivery for 3 weeks, we have finally gotten started on putting up the new fence. Thank goodness my husband is so handy since we are doing it ourselves. I don't even want to think about what installation on something like this would cost! He is outside welding at this very moment. I can put up the sheets of steel, but we can't have Serena out around the welder while he is working. She does not understand "don't look, can permanently damage your eyes!" She is having her second breakfast at the table with Keegan. He has always been my sleeper, and he just got up at 10. She has been up since 7:30.
I am putting up some pictures that are from this past spring. We will be home until June 25, then we are starting off on our 3 week trip to the west. Thank goodness our kids like to go and do as much as we do. Before we leave we have a long list of things that must be done - like finish our fence and gates! Two of the top vents on the trailer got damaged in a hail storm, and we have to get them replaced. It will take me a bit of time to get it cleaned up and packed up, not to mention that is rodeo week.
Here goes my first attempt to publish pictures!

Keeg and his new cat Rowdy- Thanks Betsy! The beginning of the fence. The swing set was a project a couple of summers ago.

Easter in the snow at the farm.

Serena and her referral photo on the 2 year anniversary of her referral. A girly girl who loves her "B" and her brother's football helmet!
