We climbed straight uphill to this point.

Our monkeys at the zoo.

Riding the panda on the merry go round.

Don't they look like they "love" each other?

Serena does not understand the finer points of mini golf.

Family self pic at Bear Lake . Our first "walk" of the day.

Coley is very proud of this pic.It looks like a postcard.

It is early and I am not feeling too creative-thus the blah title. The wireless is nonexistent at our campsite, so I had to come down the the lodge to log on- no rowdy Rotarians today. I left Coley laying in bed with Serena-she had carried every book she had in the trailer up with her. I have learned that people in campgrounds wake up early-it is only 8:20, and people are everywhere. I had to hustle this morning to get a Denver Post before they were all gone.
We have been very busy the last 2 days. On Friday we went up into the National Park. It is absolutely amazing country. I have seen mountains all over the world (Switzerland, China, the US), but it is hard to beat the views in Rocky Mountain national Park. I am not sure the kids were as impressed as Coley and I, but it was fun. Of course we walked - up hill- Serena was a trooper. I will attempt to attach pics again. Yesterday we drove down the Denver and went to the zoo. We got there early-about 9:30. The kids had a great time. Of course it was the hottest day we have seen all summer anywhere-it got up to about 98. It was hot! We left there around 2, and I think we were all melting. It is a great zoo. We drove around for a bit and let Serena sleep, then we went in to the Nature and Science Museum. We had 2 hours before they closed, so we hit the highlites fast. Keeg really enjoyed it, and Serena cruised in her stroller for the first time on this trip. We stopped in Boulder for supper since we were starving. We ate at a California Pizza Kitchen-a little fancier than the Pizza Inn at home! Boulder is a nice town with lots of new construction. Keeg got to swim last night for about 20 minutes and he was thrilled. I think him and Coley were frozed when they got out! Serena did not want to go in because it was cold and there were a lot of big kids in the pool.
Today we are taking another scenic highway down to Golden to the Alpine Slide. I don't know if Keeg will get on it or not because he sort of got spooked on the merrygo round a the zoo. Tomorrow we head to Cheyenne, via the Budweiser Brewery and the outlet mall. We should have free wireless that works at the site there.
